Our Goals

The Power of an Hour Inc. strives to achieve its mission of Facilitating Stronger Communities through More Effective Volunteering by setting up and accomplishing the following goals:

To simplify the process for individuals to find exciting volunteer opportunities
To simplify the process for nonprofit organizations to organize, manage, and market their volunteer opportunities
To simplify the process for civic organizations, companies, and other groups to find opportunities for their employees and group members to volunteer together to promote team building and a sense of giving back to the community that supports them
To simplify the process for youth to find and register for exciting volunteer events and to help them track their volunteer efforts to fulfill school and other organizational requirements
To enhance the ability for communities to organize themselves in innovative ways to produce exciting and engaging volunteer event
To enhance the ability for nonprofit organizations, civic organizations, corporations, and governments to engage and organize their community in meaningful service.
